We were excited to host a 5-day club at our home in June! We invited all the kids on our block to attend and some high school students from our new church (Good Shepherd Community Church) did the rest. We had about 10 kids show up most evenings. It was a lot of fun as they played games, told bible stories, made crafts, and ate snacks. On Thursday the kids even got slingshots to shoot balls at a 9-foot Goliath poster! :-) Best of all, we met lots of new neighbors who we hope to have friendships with for a long time.
