Troy has taken up a new hobby. Well, maybe it is more of a variation of an old hobby. How do you continue to ride your bike through the wet, cold, and mud of the Northwest autumn? You embrace it and start racing Cyclo-Cross. (Don't know what Cyclo-Cross is? Check out this link.) Troy plans to ride in his 5th race tomorrow. I've included some photos to give you a feel for it. Troy has the red jersey with yellow shoulders.
In case you wondered... Yes, this new hobby did include the purchase of a new bike. And the boys have helped Troy set up a cyclo-cross course around our home. Each of the Cyclo-Cross events also has a Kiddie Kross race which the boys have enjoyed. It has already provided lots of family fun!
