But, Daddy, what if we fall into the volcano?

Saturday we kicked off the Mt. Hood ski season at the Timberline beginner slope. The boys did great! (After assuring Carter that Mt. Hood is an INACTIVE volcano and we don't have to worry about skiing into the lava!) Axel was skiing on his own. It was a bit slow going, but he kept a great attitude. He finished the day with his best run thus far (only 3 falls). Carter skied between Troy's skis. But, he had a great time... which is really the whole point. We figure it will just take a few more years until we will be left in their snow-dust.
