Well the stoker kit for the tandem is here and on Sunday 10/14/2007 Troy and Axel took it out for the maiden voyage. Grandpa and Grandma McKinley were here for the historic event. Grandma asked, "How fast will you go with Axel on the back?" She didn't even flinch when I said 40 mile per hour on the down hills. During Axel's first ride we were cruising in the bike lane when a Subaru Outback slowed down next to us, rolled the window down and a woman informed us, "That is adorable!" When Carter woke from his nap he took over the stoker seat and Axel hitched a ride behind us. During our ride Axel suggested that we take his friends Skyler and Jayden for a ride in the trailer. That would make 4 boys behind Daddy! The weather is cooling off and the fall colors are here. We are set for family rides in the spring.
