Yesterday was our first family snowshoeing adventure! We started at Timberline Lodge and headed up through a little canyon. There was 8" - 24" of fresh powder to walk through. It was challenging and fun! We only hiked about 1/2 mile from the parking lot and then headed back downhill in sleds. :-) Overall a very successful first family snowshoe outing!
