A Sad Ending

Yesterday was Axel's last day of Kindergarten. Unfortunately, he was not able to attend. He was home with a 103F fever. He missed his Kindergarten promotion program and the party afterward. I must say that he handled it very well. I didn't handle my disappointment nearly as well. :-) I usually post with a photo. But, for this one you will just have to picture in your head Axel lying on one end of the couch all wrapped up and shivering with fever, Carter lying on the other end squirming every nanosecond, and me sitting in the middle reading Prince Caspian to them. We have promised Axel to celebrate soon after he gets to feeling better.
